I am attempting to learn more about my paternal grandparents. I have a copy of my grandmother's (Elizabeth Krissik) Baptism record which listed the following: Born: 11 Nov 1864 Parish of Lapzne Wyzne, Deanery of Lesprusiensis (Latin ?), Arch-Diocese of Krakow, District of Nesforum (Latin ?), Poland Parents listed as Jacobus Krissik and Maria Blarosrek No further data available. I have a copy of my grandfather's (Jacob Soltis) Declaration of Intention and Petition for Naturalization paper which listed the following: Born: 7 Jun 1870? ( claimed to be 55 years old on the date of the Declaration which is dated 23 Jun 1913) Arrived aboard the SS Elba (Elbe) at New York on 16 Mar 1887 |
