Post subject: no worries Ryszard
Ryszard,
I think I speak for all of the community when I say no worries on our side as regards to translations. You have been most generous and accomodating to us all in the past. Having somebody with your experience so accessible is a true blessing. I hope that whatever the unfortunate circumstances are aren't too bad.
Again thanks so much for all that you do for us.
sincerely,
Hugh

Post subject: Tykocin Marriage record translation request
I'd like to request a translation of this record. I'm not even sure if I have the correct record.
This copy is not very good, but the microfilm is not really very clear. If it is not possible to read this adequately, I can go back to the microfilm to try to get a better copy, as I do have permanent access to it.
The PSA has this on-line, but it is not clear there, either. All they did was to scan the existing microfilm, rather than scan the originals.
I do have the record broken into two parts, in hopes that it will be better.
I'd really love to have a word-for-word translation, if time permits.
Thank you in advance.
Dan

Post subject: Church records 1818 & 1843 - translation Russian handwri
Hi, my name is Helen and I have been fortunate to find church records for the years 1818 and 1843 from the Lithuanian and Belarus State Archives relating to my Polish family history (now located in Belarus) I have tried to have them translated by a Russian Interpreter without much success due to the difficulty in reading the handwriting. I can only attach 2 of the 3 records here and would appreciate it if you were able to translate these documents for me.
Regards
Helen

Post subject: Tykocin Marriage record translation request revised
Checking my posting from the other day, I do not see the images, so assume something must have gone wrong with them.
I went back and made some more copies from the microfilm today, with the hopes of getting clearer, more legible copies. The microfilm of this page just isn't very good. And, I believe something may not be quite right with the microfilm machine at the library, either. When I scan, and then look at the result, it looks quite fuzzy on the computer monitor, much fuzzier than on the microfilm machine screen.
To that end, I cut the document into 4 sections, to keep the resolution as large as I could to try to make the words as clear as possible.
Hopefully, this will help.
Thanks again for any help with this.
Dan

Post subject: Translation please-Banaszek, Antoni, Birth-1888/Death 1889
Hi, I have many church documents for my grandfather's siblings from Sieczychy Parish Dlugosiodlo, Poland, that I'm slowly getting translated. This should be the birth and death records for my grandfather's brother, Antoni Banaszek, parents were Marcin Banaszek and Scholastyka Zalewska. The birth year was 1888 and death year was 1889 , and I was told that this is "old Russian" by a co-worker. Even just the highlights will be appreciated, I'm looking for more clues that may shed more light on my great-grandparents, Marcin and Scholastyka.
Thanks much for your time.
Cindy

Post subject: Marriage document Scheide/Bucholtz
Dear Forum members,
Here a brief description of my ancestors. All my paternal ancestors were from different parts of Germany that settled in Poland in the 19th century. Their descendents all moved to Wolhynia and at the end of WWII had to leave and went back to Germany
I found yesterday the marriage file for my great-great grandfather Theodor Scheide on Genbaza. Would anybody be so kind as to translate that for me? Would be incredible. It is the document #11 to the right. I hope the resolution works. The file size is ~950 kB.
I do have one more question, does anybody know where I might find church records of Bulkowa? It is located btween Plock and Wyszogrod.
Thanks so much in advance,
Marion
