Hello,

I am trying to find family from Raciazek with the Biclecka last name. My grandmother's family was split up by the Germans. Trying to find my roots...

Melanie

Hi Melanie,
Where is Raciążek ? Do a Google search on Raciążek Poland and you get the map of where it is. Fortunately for you it is a well-researched area in central Poland – the Kujawy-Pomorskie region.

Is it the correct spelling of the surname? Unless you have hard documentary evidence (i.e. an officially issued birth certificate) of the spelling I would suggest that the correct spelling of the surname is Bielecki (masculine) / Bielecka (feminine).

Do you have a date of birth of your grandmother and the names of her parents ?

Tom
