Take a look at the names of my great grandfather’s godparents : Katarzyna Splawski and Stanislaw Splawski .
Is there perhabs any connection between the names on the statue and the names of my great grandfather's godparents?

Baptism Notes
Praksedow 15.This happened in the village of Dobrow on the 17th of February of the year 1867 at 5 p.m. Andrzej Ciesielski presented himself, age 33, a farmer and Wojt of Brudzew gmina [administrator of the local commune or township], residing in Praksedow, in the presence of Andrzej Mielcarek, a farmer from Borek, age 39 and Stanislaw Splawski, a farmer from Dobrow, age 32, and he showed us a child of the male gender born in Praksedow on the 13th of the current month and year at 9 o'clock in the evening to his wife, Maryanna nee Mejsner, age 33. At Holy Baptism administered today, this child was given the name Andrzej, and his godparents were the abovementioned Andrzej Mielcarek and Katarzyna Splawski, accompanied by Stanislaw Splawski and Agnieszka Mielcarek. This document was read aloud to the declarant and witnesses and was signed by Us and the declarant, as the witnesses do not know how to write. [Illegible], Pastor of the parish church and Civil Registrar:Andrzej Ciesielski

I translate it as "Stanislaw and Katarzyna Spławskich victims of Dabrowa 1910". So something happened in Dabrowa, I would search that. I can't say if the 2 names are related to each other.
