Hi!
I am looking for any Catholic records from Bobowa or St. Catherine's in Grybow. My grandmother, Maria Gajewska b1919, was the illegitimate daughter of Jozefa Gajewska who in turn was the daughter of Paul Gajewski and Maira NN. According to my grandmother's baptismal certificate from St. Catherine in Grybow, her mother's family were from Bobowa. At some point before WW2, my grandmother was living in Biala Wyzna.
I have searched and searched the archives as well as Geneteka but no luck.
Her Godparents were Antoni Rysiewicz and Julian Litawa, wife of Stefan.
On grandma's DP paperwork, she always wrote that her mother's maiden name was Glowczyk which doesn't fit what the church said. Her parents died while she was young and she was raised by her grandparents but I don't know which ones.

Any ideas of where I could look would be awesome.

Thanks! Karen
