There are LDS microfilms for that place, but they don't cover the year 1896, as you can see in https://www.familysearch.org/eng/library/fhlcatalog/printing/titledetailsprint.asp?titleno=1047068 The Archive State in Poznan has birth records up to 1874 only. http://baza.archiwa.gov.pl/sezam/pradziad.php?l=&mode=showopis&id=31905&miejscowosc=jarzabkowo&rodzajaktu_id=20 Maybe the Archive can tell you if there are birth records for 1896 and where they are kept.
