Post subject: Braciszewski/Koteras
Greetings!
I need help finding the correct Braciszewski family.
Martinus Braciszewski married Cecelia Koteras in 1849,Slawno,Wielkopolskie,Poland in a Catholic Church.
He was 24 and she was 25.
I would like to find his siblings and mother/father.
Martinus was my gggrandfather. He and Cecelia had a son, Martin ,also, born 1866.I would also like to know if he had siblings ,since he ,age16 aand his mother ,Cecelia 52yo.,came to the U.S. on the Fulda in 1883,NYC>Buffalo ,NY.until 1905>Olean ,NY and finally settled in Dunkirk ,NY in 1910.
I am sure of the marriage of Martinus and Cecelia in 1849 per Poznan Project and a death certificate of Cecelia from St. Stan's, Buffalo NY.Died 1890,
I am searching high and low for siblings of my gg andggggrandfathers.
I hope you can help me!
Kind Regards, Marie

Marie,
You are in luck in regard to historical records. The FamilySearch catalogue shows that they have microfilms for the parish of Poznań, Sławno (Gniezno) from 1673-1950. Just go to your nearest Family History Centre and order the microfilms.
To get the actual microfilm reference numbers, search for the phrase Poznań, Sławno (Gniezno) at https://familysearch.org/catalog/search
