Demko Szopa, or Daniel Seopa as he was known here in Minnesota, was my great grandfather. He came to the US in 1892 from Malastow and married Cecilia Rachel in NY 1894. I knew of 6 children they had, 5 daughters and one son. My grandmother was one of the daughter. I help tend Dan and Cecilia's graves. I have some information, photos, documents, and a couple of family stories about him for anyone interested. |
