|
Dobropole is north of Buczacz (Buchach) in modern day Ukraine. All related peoples from this village seem to have immigrated between 1903 and 1914. They came through different ports including New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. The earliest emigrants were destined for Curtis Bay, Maryland. My line then went on to Vandergrift, Pennsylvania and were in Hamtramck, Michigan by the 1920s. Some went on to Canada but I have no contact with this branch.
