Research notes I was born & live in Australia.  My mother was Polish born of the Catholic faith.  Her father of the Andrzejewski family & mother Kulakowski.  Antoni Nabozni appears to have been her first husband from whom she was forever separated from during early years of WW2 - both were political prisoners sent to different work camps.  After release in 1942 she was one who joined the Polish 5th Division of the British Army as a nurse, eventually escaping Russia by crossing the Caspian Sea into Persia.  By the end of the war she was still serving in India where she re-married before coming to Australia.

I am interested in chasing her Polish forebears in Grodno.  Also suspect a connection with Warsaw as her father's sister was supposed to have been a well known actress there - no other details known.  I do not speak Polish.
