I have had an interest in working on family genealogy since my grandmother lived with me until her death. We entered information about family members off of the prayer cards from their deaths that she had kept for years. I have my great grandfather's baptismal record from the catholic parish Grzebsk from December 1889. My sister, sister in law and myself have a trip booked to Poliand in October flying in and out of Warsaw. My greatest interest is to find the parish my family was baptized in and see if I can utilize the little documentation I have to back track and find family. Hopefully, there is a cemetery with the churck that would allow for some family connections. After the wonderful success of my trip to Poland in October 2015 looking for the Rudzinski family lines of siblings my great grandfather left behind in Poland I am determined to go back and research the Jedrezjewski and Dolatowski family lines. The forum opportunity on PO have helped me incredibly. I am now able to reach my 3rd great grandfather on both sides of these two surnames. |
