FAMILY NAMES & ORIGINS IN POLAND

My corrupted family surnames in the US are WASMUCKI, WASMUCKY, and WASMUSKI.

Most of my current relatives are in northastern PA (Taylor/Old Forge/Scranton) and New York.

My maternal great-grandmother was ROZALIA (JACHYMIAK) WAKSMUNDZKI.
Her parents were FRANCIZEK & KATARZYNA (SOPIARZ) JACHYMIAK
She was from LUDZMIERZ and married ANTONI WAKSMUNDZKI there.

My paternal great-grandfather was ANTONI WAKSMUNDZKI.
His parents were WOJCIECH & TEKLA (MROZEK) WAKSMUNDZKI.
Antoni Waksmundzki was from ZASKALE.
His family may have originated in WAKSMUND or OSTROWSKO.

He may have had a brother-in-law MARCIN KUBICA in the US (WAKSMUNDZKI-KUBICA)

My great-grandparents, ANTONI & ROZALIA (JACHYMIAK) WAKSMUNDZKI immigrated to the US in 1899 and settled in northeastern Pennsylvania; TAYLOR & OLD FORGE, PA.

I do not know if they had any other related family that immigrated to the US.

If anyone recognizes or is connected to any of this information, I would appreciate hearing from you.

OTHER RELATED FAMILY
The other side of my family (mostly in Pennsylvania) is BOREK-PENDRAK.

Other family names connected to my family on either side (mostly in Pennsylvania) by marriage are JANCZYK, LICHAK, WOJCICKI, KWIATKOWSKI, & CHERNOSKI

COAL MINING
I am originally from northeastern Pennsylvania.  My great-grandparents settled in the areas of TAYLOR and OLD FORGE, Pennsylvania.  My great-grandfather, grandfather, and uncles worked in the mines inTaylor until the decline of the anthracite coal industry.  I am quite familiar with immigrant experience in that area; as well as Polish surnames in the areas; especially Taylor and Old Forge.  Many surnames and immigrant descendants are still in that area.  I'm not sure if I can help anyone, but can try if anyone would like to touch base. (However, if you are not already aware of this, surnames in this area are often very corrupted from the correct/original versions in Poland.)
