Research notes I'm researching my family and our Polish side comes from Korczyna and Zalipie.  My grandfather, Andrew Joseph Wojnar, came to the U.S. in 1917 from Korczyna.  My grandmother, Kunegunda Slosek, came to the U.S. from Zalipie in 1912.  They met and on October 12, 1920 married in Holyoke, Massachusetts.  My grandfather had 5 siblings and, to my knowledge, my grandmother had 2.  My grandfather's 4 sisters, Katarczyna (Gonet), Julia (Bialek), Mary (Prajzner), and Rozalia all moved to the United States.  His brother, John Wojnar, remained in Korczyna, so I know I must have relatives in that area.  My grandmother's two sisters, Anna and Anelia (possibly Amelia), I believe both came to the U.S., but it's possible that Anna did not.  Anelia and Kunegunda traveled together to America, arriving on March 30, 1912 on the Mauretania.  On the passenger manifest, Anelia lists Anna as the closest relative not traveling with her and lists Anna's location as their home town of Zalipie, Poland.

I don't know my grandmother's father's name or her mother's maiden name, but her mother's first name was Zofia, so she'd have been Zofia Slosek from Zalipie.  If anyone can help me fill in the gaps, I would greatly appreciate it!
