"Act" here is any vital record, birth, marriage, death.

In Polish - Akta Stanu Cywilnego, in English - Civil Vital Records, in French - actes d'état civil.

My grandmother mother's maiden name was Katarzyna Bzdon. Does that help?

Hi,

There is so many Kruk's in today Poland, that you cannot do anything with only that name, see

I understand you have acts from Brzyska Wola, near Leżajsk, in Podkarpackie. I think the only way to go is to start from those acts, gather other names (families and villages).
National Archives for that area of Poland are a pain (euphemism).
From what I could observe parishes are not helping much.
Either they do not have archives. Or they do, but it's too much work and cost for them to scan it and put online. The worst situation would be they have archives and do not want to disclose it.

Thirteen Kruk in Brzyska Wola found in Nasza Klasa (nk.pl) a polish social network.
The site is all in polish and you have to subscribe. It is free. I am not a polish speaker.

I hate to bother you; but I don't know where else to turn. I'm trying
to find out if I have any living relatives in Poland. In May, I went
