Surname Juzyk comes from given name Józef, popular in Poland from the Middle Ages, seen in forms such as Ożep, Jożep, Jożef, and in the Eastern Borderlands as Yosyp, Hosyp, Yesyp, and Yosyf , in Hebrew Yōsēf, “He
[God] will add” or “may He [God] add”, in English it is Joseph.

In 2002 there were 109 individuals using the surname Juzyk living in Poland. Detailed map of the surname distribution can be found here for men: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Juzyk As you can see almost all are in the western part of Poland.
The village Byczkowce is nowadays in Ukraine (its name in Ukrainian is Бичківці ), so you will not see it on the map above. However, after the war a lot of families were displaced from the Eastern Borderlands to the western part of Poland, so it might be also possible in your case.

Hi, Zenon
My family surname is (as far as I know) Juzyk, residence Byczkowce. In Canada they changed it to Yuzik.
