Thanks Gilberto, that's exactly the kind of map I need, since I also am doing research north of Plock. Are there any similar maps of parishes south of Nowy Sacz?
on the link below, zoom the map out and then click on the parish listed on the right side of the screen: this will place that parish in the center of the screen. Then go zooming in and the neighboring parishes will appear.

I'm not aware of a list of parishes in that area from that time. You can search for parishes presently in the Diocese of Plock by going to the website www.diecezjaplocka.pl On the home page click on the tab "dla wiernych" and then on "parafie". This will take you to a page where can search for parishes by village names. Some dioceses will list parishes by dekanats or deaneries---a grouping of parishes from one geographical region. Unfortunately, it seems that Plock does not list parishes in that format so it would be necessary to find villages in the area on a map and then type in village names and search on the Plock site. If the village has a parish church the info will appear. It is a slow process to search in that fashion, but there does not seem to be any easier way. Parishes that existed in the past generally still exist today so it would be a viable search strategy.
The 80-85 age range is probably more realistic give or take a few years. If you know the dates of birth of Barbara's children that would be a good way to set limits for your search. She was probably no younger than 16-18 at the time of the birth of the oldest child and she was probably no older than 40- 45 at the time of the birth of her youngest child.

Hope this helps.

Dave
My mother always thought Barbara was close to 100, but I have seen records (passenger lists, censuses) that would place her closer to 80-85. How can I find out neighboring parishes? Is there a list of parishes in the area from the time?

The death record you posted gives you a decent starting point for research in Poland with several caveats. The Latin text states that she was from the Gubierna of Plock, omits the name of the Powiat, and then lists the name of the gmina. (The Latin word which translates as district usually describes a gmina.) The village of Rosciszewo is the seat of a gmina which also has a parish church. Barbara may have been from that parish or she may have been from a neighboring parish which was part of the same gmina so if you can't find what you are looking for in that parish, perhaps it may be found in a neighboring parish. Since it is a death record that may have been the area where she last lived before coming to America or perhaps the place where she was born and married or perhaps all three. Information about Rosciszewo can be found in the Slownik Geograficzny Krolestwa Polskiego, Tom IX, Strona 750. The attached map from 1907 shows the location of Rosciszewo in the powiat of Sierpc in the gubierna of Plock.
Finally, her age as 100 is probably not her actual age since 100 was an age frequently assigned to someone who had lived a long life.

Hope you have success in your quest.
