Cyndi,

This is what I found about:

Kiejna is rather uncommon surname. I have found its meaning nor origin in my sources.

In 2002 there were only 65 people using the surname Kiejna living in Poland. Most lived in Wroclaw. Detailed map can be found here https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Kiejna .

Listen how your surname is pronounced in Polish (speakers turned on): http://say.expressivo.com/jacek/kiejna .

Michał-; Michalski from Hebrew name Mikha'el, "who is like God?". Polish Michał, English Michael.

In contrast to the previous surname, Michalski is a very popular last name in the whole Poland. In 2002 there were more than 26 000 men and almost 27 000 women using the surname Michalski (or its female form Michalska) living in Poland. Detailed map can be found here https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Michalski .

In 19th century there were following noble families:

Michalski coat of arms Łodzia
Michalski coat of arms Korczak
Michalski Jan ennobled in 1768
Michalski coat of arms Trzaska from Rejów, Halicz region (now Ukraine)
