Hi Stefan - Thank you very much for your help in providing some information about my father - Boleslaw Zygmunt Dabek. It is really good to be pointed in the right direction and I know that you have given me some extra info from that which I have already. His second wife was Joyce and they did live in the Denham Bucks/ Uxbridge area of England. I did know that he had died in 2002 through my other Family Tree research and the place, but not where he is buried. As I do not live too far away, I think that it is time that I make that journey to see his grave. The contact address and phone number for the Polish Records Section at RAF Northolt will also be of great use. I do know that he was a great linguist speaking at least five different languages so I can imagine that he would have been able to help with the Resettlement Corps. So - thank you very much indeed for your help.

on August 2, 2002, at the age of 89, in Uxbridge, Buckinghamshire, UK,
in greater London, and is buried at a cemetery at nearby Denham Village.
(pop. 7,000)

The only Roman Catholic Church in the immediate area seems to be the
Church of the Most Holy Name, on Old Mill Rd.

Electoral rolls for 2002 for Uxbridge list a Joyce E. Dabek. I strongly suspect
that this lady was your fathers' second wife, or possibly a daughter. It shouldn't
be too difficult to find her (former?) street address in Uxbridge

I suggest you work with the Red Cross. If you are not fluent in Polish, contact the local branch of the British Red Cross. Otherwise work with the Polish Red Cross, contact the Kraków office:
