I came across your post and want to add something perhaps interesting to you.
My family (I was born Krzyszycha) comes from Paary and my grandfather's sister married into Rebizant family living in Rebizanty
I came across a very interesing blog by Monika Rebizant http://rebizantsiwilo.blogspot.com/p/rebizant.html
You might contact Monika as she has done a lot of research on her family.
Good luck with your search!
Hi Karen! Thanks for writing - My great-grandmother's brother was named Michal Rebizant and he lived in Manatoba. I've been trying to learn more about him. Maybe we are talking about the same guy.

Of the Rebizants who emigrated to Manitoba in the 1900's, I only know of my great-grandmother's brother Michal and the family of Peter Rebizant, who emigrated to Cooks Creek around 1906. Peter Rebizant was the brother of my GG-grandfather Elias Rebizant.

I have some Rebizant cousins who once lived in Garson, but they emigrated in the 1950's or 1960's. I think another family of Rebizants went to Manatoba, but I don't know who their emigrating ancestor was.

I sent you a private message.
Thanks,
Hi, I am writing from Manitoba, Canada. My grandfather, Paul Mula was born in Huta Różaniecka and came to Canada in 1912. His parents were Jan Mula and Maria Herda. From what I have been able to piece together, I believe his sister Agnes married a Michael Rebizant. There is a lot of family in the area where I live (not far from Cooks Creek) although I have been unable to piece together the relationships. As my dad mentioned just recently, everyone was referred to as "aunt" and "uncle" so he's doesn't know if the families were related or not! I would be interested in sharing information.

We have recently reconnected with some of our Polish relatives and my aunt and uncle have visited the home where my grandfather was born.

Regards,
Karen (nee Mula)

                                      Hi Marcin,
Thank you for your message. I recognize many of your surnames! I think that it is wonderful that a 16 year old man is interested in family history. It is very good to start searching your family history when you are young and so many older people can help you. I have looked at many films from Narol. There are 2 places for you to look online:

http://www.mfhn.com/narol/ - at this site you can get to a list of names by scrolling down the page and clicking on "Surname List" See the image below.

and

http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/15921986/listofallpeople

I will send you a message and we can talk further. I'm happy that you wrote to me!
Hi Shellie,
I'm from Poland and I'm interesing in parish Narol and Jędrzejówka. Maybe Huta Różaniecka too?
I'm sorry that my English isn't perfect, but I still learing and I think that it's better every day (I'm 16 years old).

My granfather was born in Narol in 1924 and his all family was born in Narol too (which I know of course).
Sometimes I saw surname Rebizant in parish Narol, but I saw microfilm of Narol one year ago and I've got
little photos. Surnames of my family in Narol: Marynicz, Gmiterek, Marek, Banaś, Borkowska, Bujara, Szuper,
Kuśmirczak, Gawlik, Zygarlicka, Skowronek, Mróz, Ruda/or/Duda.

I want to see microfilm from parish Lipsko, but Jędrzejówka belonged to parish Lipsko.
In act of married of my great great great grandfather with second wife I can see that
parents of Johannes Marynicz are agricol (farmers) from Jędrzejówka. It was 1856.
So if You have informations about parish Narol or Lipsko I want too know it

Maybe surnames of my family are in Your too?

Hi Andrzej!
Thank you for sharing your information! Would you be willing to share an image of your map here with the rest of the forum or perhaps email me an image in a private message? I am so thankful for information that anyone shares with me here. I have made some progress over the past few months, but it has been slow.

Have you read my thread about my Rebizant family here: http://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?t=437&highlight=ference

I would not have made ANY progress if people were not willing to help, so again THANK YOU!
Hi,

I think you should visit the webpage: http://www.mfhn.com/narol/ where you can find a lot of information from the neighbour parish to Huta Rozaniecka, Narol. You can find there several names you are interested in, such as Rebizant and Herda.

According to the history of the Rebizanty village (in 2001 it seems to become a part of Huta Szumy) I have a copy of an old map of this area from ca 1830 where the place had been indicated. As many other small villages upon Tanew river it could have been originally a water mill site inhabited by members of Rebizant family (typical naming for this region meaning 'here live Rebizants').

In GoogleBooks 'Roczniki humanistyczne, Tom 49,Wydanie 6 -Tom 50,Wydanie 6' the following explanation to the name origin is given: "Rebizanty meant people living upon a border who were traders and smugglers'. In this area Tanew river was a border between Russia and Austria from 1809-1810 until 1914.

Regards,
Andrzej
I am wondering how you were able to find records from your village. I have been searching LDS but can't find what I am looking for.

Jędrzejówka was a part of the town (in Polish "przysiółek", what can be translated as "settlement") Lipsko. Lipsko is now part of Narol and Jędrzejówka became separate village. If your ancestors were Roman Catholics then they belonged to Lipsko parish, if they were Greek Catholics, then their parish would be in Krupiec.

I noticed that '1/2 pint' gave you excellent hint about your grandfather's Huta Stara search: http://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?p=2532#2532 .

Shellie wrote:

I am now looking for Greek Orthodox church records for that area.

Shellie,

Narol also belonged to Greek Catholic parish in Krupiec. In Polish State Archives in Przemysl there are some records from 1800s from this parish. The family history center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has microfilmed records for this village. You can view them at this link: http://tinyurl.com/HutaRozaniecka
