Try wikipedia for Szczawnica: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Szczawnica or in Polish: http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Szczawnica . Also, see official town website: http://www.szczawnica.eu/ . We spent in this beautiful spa together with my wife one of our vacations not long after our marriage.
I am privileged to be at last able to visit Poland where my whole family is from. They came to America around the turn of the century before the Holocaust. Any information about either of these towns would really be helpful. We are leaving this Saturday.
