Hello Elzbieta,
Thank you very much.....I am glad to get a confirmation of my grandmother's maiden name of "goat's beard" as this is what she would say but then I heard a different interpretation....this person said, it means "one who is from Koziebrody"....so I looked up this town and it is in eastern Poland, near Plock. Also very interesting. Baszczuk is my grandfather's name.....he married this grandmother Kozibroda. Thank you very much again! Marcia

The firt one is straightforward:

Kozibroda or rather kozia broda, beard of a goat, goatee beard.

The second seems to be part of names derived of given names: Barbara, Bartłomiej, Bastian, Barabasz, Bartholomeum alias Basz
