                                      It was very common that, when a husband or wife died, the surviving spouse would remarry quickly. Particularly when there were young children. The children's surname names were unchanged.</description>

                                      Looking for speculation ideas...........I wrote to the state archives at Rszezow...They responded (within a week!) with information about my grandfather, his 4 siblings, and parents with different last names. If mother remarried, would the children's name remain the same? Probably not divorced before the turn of the century??? If mother was single when she had the children......Anyone successfully solve this type of issue????&lt;br /&gt;
