Godzielewski) were from.All I know is they were from Germany/Poland,maybe Prussia.<br /> Their children that I know of were Frank W. Kuczynski (my ggrandfather) and his sister Francisca.<br /> Frank was born around 1857 and was supposed to be married to Weronika Wadner,but my records show that her name was Veronica Michalska. <br /> Married in 1887, Buffalo ,NY.<br /> Was it common for the bride to take her mother's maiden name or what's up with that ?<br /> Whose name was it ? <br /> I would just be satisfied if I knew the town any of the Kuczynski's were born in or who I might contact .<br /> If they were from Prussia,I can't find anything about Prussian records and my older relatives are all dead and never talked about the old country anyway .When we were young,they talked in Polish when they didn't want us to hear anything.
