During Holy Friday Mass it is not allowed to use music instruments. Even bells are silent. Only human voice is used.
We have recorded some acapella songs during yesterday's mass.
They are in Polish (one is in Latin) but all of them are about the Passion and Virgin Mary suffering.
We also participate in Holy Triduum Masses.

If you want to see how we celebrate it in Poland join us during our Easter celebrations here in Poland.
This year we prepared something special! On Great Saturday, 26th of March Zenon will make a live stream directly from the Paschal Triduum celebration in Pruszków’s church!

And we have another treat for you. Two members of our PO team (Ania and me), will be singing at the church during the celebration, and Amelka (Zenon's and my daughter) will be playing the cello!
Join us on 26th March at 8.00 PM CET hour (7.00 PM GMT or 3.00 PM EDT) by clicking on this link https://www.periscope.tv/PolishOrigins/
Śmigus - Dyngus

"(...)The Monday after Easter was a day of joy and frolic. But first of all it was a day of sprinkling everybody with water.

It had various names. Today we know it as “Śšmigus-Dyngus” or “Lany Poniedział‚ek”. There were many techniques of sprinkling, from gentle sprinkling with perfume to pouring full buckets of water on one another or throwing somebody into a pond. Although it was not always nice, no girl wanted to stay dry because that would mean a lack of popularity with the boys.

For more even fun, boys sitting on tree branches or on the top of a roof delivered short rhymes, often very malicious, in honor of the girls. But the real offence would be the lack of such a rhyme for a girl, so each of them wanted to hear something about herself.(...)"

Have you heard before about Śmigus-Dyngus tradition on Easter Monday in Poland You can read about Easter in the old Poland in this two part article Holy Week and Easter http://polishorigins.com/document/easter1 and http://polishorigins.com/document/easter2
