If your ggrandfather described himself as Polish Russian I am afraid he didn't come from Kubaczyn, which is located nearby Poznan. Try to upload here the whole page of passenger record where your ggrandfather is listed. Sometimes it is helpful to see other words written down by the same hand and try to figure out from that what are the letters in the word we are trying to decipher.</description>

Go there to search town locator section when you know first few letters of town name.&lt;br /&gt;
You can then locate it on the Polish map with mapa szukacz section. The name just might be Kubaczyn. Most transcribers spelled names the way they heard them.&lt;br /&gt;
