Jozef,
I'm sorry, but all I know is my uncles Josef, Antoni, and aunt Katarzyna remained in Poland. Uncle Wanorzynice was born in Osieciny on July 20, 1884 and married Josefa Skarupinska on May 5, 1905. She was born in Osieciny on Aug. 22, 1885. Wanorzynice came to the U. S. in 1909. The reason for this search was to learn about my grandparents, who I never knew. From my Dad's ships manifest was the name of Anna Palinski[mother] I don't know maiden name. Father entered U. S. in Baltimore, Maryland on Apr. 28, 1913. I was told years ago that my Aunt Josefa traveled with my father to this country.

Declaration of Intent lists his birth as Oct. 9, 1896 Osieciny, Poland. I mentioned earlier his birth year was 1897. I'm not sure which one is correct

Thank you Jozef,
I have only Osieciny as his birth place.
I didn't know of any other Osieciny's. Presently, I have been in contact with a lady at the archives in Warsaw. She'll probably tell me the same thing. Searched Polish Gen Web and found only one town of that name.

W aktach urodzenia, aktach małżeństw i zgonów w 1897 roku w Osięciny koło Włocławka - nie ma żadnego wpisu: Jan Paliński.
Wniosek - inny rok albo inne Osięciny...

Hello,
I have been searching for my Father's birth certificate. The archives in Torun didn't have a record. The church in his birth town was the same. His name was Jan Palinski, born Oct. 9, 1897 in Osieciny, a small town just west of Wloclawek. Would the archives in Warsaw possibly have what I'm looking for? I would welcome any suggestions.
