I recently discovered that the two surnames are curiously similar and suspect that a connection of the two family roots are what brought my grandfather and grandmother together. Is anyone aware of a connection between Stefan Pietrczyk b. 1870 in the vicinity of Krasnik(my grandmother's father) and Michalena Pietrzak b.1868 in the vicinity of Lomza(my grandfather's mother)?
