And do add Hurysz to your list of spellings to consider in place of Hurnisz.

And *face-palm*! UNK. hahaha. So obvious -- I didn't even think about it. 100% makes sense. So Hurnisz it is, atleast until I can determine a more accurate spelling.
Thanks again ~~

Hi Oncemore,
It's great that you are helping a friend with their family history!
I use the same resource that Gilberto does, herby.com , but if you are unfamiliar with it, I will mention that you need to click on the underlined phrase "Słownika Nazwisk Współcześnie w Polsce Używanych" in order to get to the search function. I agree with Gilberto about Radziukiewicz being a properly spelled surname. You can then also go to moikrewni and see how many people in Poland have that surname (in this case, 143, a rather rare surname), and where they live in Poland: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Radziukiewicz
Using these same two resources, I think your friend's Czerwonec is probably Czerwoniec or possibly Czerwoniak. Komienieczynk is possibly Kamieniarczyk. As for Hurnisz, I do not know. I would dismiss "Unk" as a surname; it is a commonly used abbreviation for "unknown" and depending on what kind of record your friend found it in, that could be the explanation.
If your friend has primary sources and needs help to read the handwriting, posting an image here could be useful. If they have sources where the name was indexed by someone for a database, and the indexer had trouble reading the original, it is a tougher nut to crack.
Best of luck in the search,
Sophia

Edit: Hurysz is a good possibility for Hurnisz.

                                      Hello!

Helping a friend work on their family pedigree.

Wanting to confirm if the following would be a correct spelling:
Radsiekiewicz

The subject was born in Wilno, but lists ethnicity as Russian.

Also, husband (from Wilno) is listed as a 'Czerwonec'. But listed as nationality russian, ethnicity Polish.
Does that spelling seem accurate?

Now for the maiden names of their parents.
1 is Komienieczynk
1 is either Hurnisz or Unk (listed once in 1 record, once in a another).

Thank you for any clarity on correct spelling. And any insight into whether Hurnisz or Unk is the more likely option.
