Yes, though it appears as Tereby in present day Poland map.&lt;br /&gt;
Tereba - z fonetyką ukraińską od podstawy trzeb , por. imiona złożone typu Trzebiesław, Trzebomysł oraz trzeba ‘potrzeba; należy’; trzebić. &lt;br /&gt;

                                      I have never been able to work out the origin of my mother's surname Tereba, until I was mucking around on Halgal.com last night and looking at old maps.
