Mother Marianna dies 1875 Record #13 Age 48 (which matches her birth year)

Father Albrecht dies 1889 Record #30 Age 67 (remembering that age at death estimates by the person registering the death are always a bit dodgy)

Based on Marianna Kościńska’s year of birth (1827) and the first entry for a child by her, in 1845 (when she was 18 years old), I would strongly suggest that the marriage of Albrecht Melka and Marianna Kościńska was in 1844 +/- 1 year. The bad news is that it appears (to me) that the marriage records for these years are missing.

The correct spelling is Lalkowy. It is located half way between Bydgoszcz and Gdansk in central north Poland.

I am looking for information on my great grandfather's birthplace. On his death record it indicates his birth as 23 Aug 1851, Talkowo, Poland. Can anyone tell me where this is located?
