Yes, on the same link I provided you before. I also remember to have seen the Ceran surname there. From 1868 on, the names in the indexes are written in russian.

It has been a few years since you last addressed the topic of this thread and.....I'm back seeking your expertise because I still have not found the parish records for my grandparents ~ Joseph Jankowski and Ewa Domalewski for whom, fortunately, I now have additional information

Since 2013, I've learned through stateside records my grandfather was born to Franciszk Jankowski and Mary Naruszewicz between 1867 and 1873 in Gębalówka, Germany Russia. Previously, I gave you 1873 as my grandfather's DOB and you were unable to find records at the Bakałarzewo parish for him. Since 2013, I've found different birth years recorded for my grandfather and I am now wondering if w/information about his parents, if you can find anything about my grandfather's family in Bakałarzewo parish records?

My grandmother, Ewa Domalewski was born around 1880 in Sadłowina, Germany Russia to Franciszk Domalewski and one of two women - either Ewa Malowicka or Katherina Ceran. On my mother's birth certificate her mother is shown to be Ewa Malowicka also born Germany, Russia. However, in the 1940 Census, my grandmother was one of the individuals asked "additional questions" that were recorded at the bottom of the census sheet and....in 1940 the census taker recorded Katherina Ceran to be Ewa Domalewski's mother. [???]

Regarding my grandmother, Ewa Domalewski, I've also learned she had two siblings, Jacob born in 1878 and Mary for whom I do not have a DOB.

With this new information, can you check to see if my grandparents and/or their families are in Bakałarzewo parish. Thank you kindly for your time. John Rogowski/Wisconsin/USA

John,
the only additional info I have is the birth record of a Ewa Maluwicka in 1879 (link below). You would have to request a translation in Russian Records Translation p.2 topi on this forum to see if it adds something. I can only see the father was Jakob and mother was Ewa, too.
Not all years are available. I have checked for marriages and births in 1890, 91, 92, 93, 95 and 96 (1894 is missing): nothing for Kajetan or Jozef and Ewa.

Birth records for 1873 not available. Birth records for 1880: not any Ewa under letter D.
The link for the collection (in progress):
Thank you so much for your time, Gilberto!! Kajetan Jankowski wrote on his WWI Draft Card that his father [my grandfather] was born Gębalówka, Suwalski. Kajetan [Kenneth] was born in New York in 1896.

Per your online source, can you find information on Kajetan's parents or [my maternal grandparents] in/near Gębalówka, Suwalski? My grandfather, Joseph Jankowski, was born 19 March 1873. My grandmother, Eva Domelska was born in/near Gębalówka, Suwalski 24 Dec 1880. I895, they married in the US. Thank you : )

This is was the good news The bad ones is that Bakalarzewo parish records are onfline and I did not find a birth for him im 1896 (only for a Boleslaw and a Wiktor, different parents).
