To any of our forum members who would like to help Katarzyna,
In addition to the information she initially provided, she is adding that her great-grandmother Cecylia Koterwas (or Koperwas) moved to Poland, to the town of Rypin, which is in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship (in Polish, that's woj. kujawsko-pomorskie, when you are looking on sites like http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/ ). Katarzyna also adds that Cecylia died in 1997.
I looked on http://www.familysearch.org/ for Cecylia's birth in Ohio but was unsuccessful. Can anyone else find it?

Ja nie za bardzo znam język angielski.
Dodam tylko, że moja Cecylia Koterwas (Koperwas) mieszkała później w mieście Rypin woj. kujawsko-pomorskie w Polsce.
Zmarła w 1997 roku.

These people are not in my tree. My Cecelia died in 1901 and the surname is different.

Hi Marie,
The message at the top here, from Katarzyna in Poland, is that she is looking for a birth record for her great-grandmother whose name was Cecylia Koterwas (or Koperwas). The Cecylia she is looking for was born in the U.S. in April 1906, probably in Cleveland, Ohio. The only information that she has is that Cecylia's father was Michal Koterwas (or Koperwas) and her mother was Anna Kucinska. Michal and Anna had sailed to the U.S. after 1901. That is all she knows.
It would seem that this is not the same as your Cecylia.

My Cecylia was born around 1823 ish and married my ggrandfather, Martinus Braciszewski...check Poznan Project.
She lived around Slawno.Wielkopolskie,Poland,moved to Buffalo NY with her son, Martin,b.1867 and she died in 1901,buried in St. Adalbert's Old Cemetery,Buffalo,NY.

Szukam aktu urodzenia mojej prababci Cecylii Koterwas (Koperwas).
Cecylia urodziła się w kwietniu 1906 r. w USA prawdopodobnie w Cleveland, Ohio.
Wiem tylko, że jej ojciec Michał Koterwas (Koperwas) i matka Anna Kucińska przypłynęli do USA po r. 1901.
Nic więcej o nich nie wiem.
Proszę o pomoc w szukaniu.
