In 1942 there was only The Polish Army in Great Britain, on the Western Front. From 1943 there was also the Polish People's Army (Ludowe Wojsko Polskie) under the USSR, on the Eastern Front.

None of the shoulder insigmia exactly match, but the three bars indicate Master Corporal (Plutonowy).
