A couple of suggestions:
Look through Janina’s personal letters and try and find names and addresses that you could write to.
Google karnicki "drawsko pomorskie" and see if any email addresses come up in the search results.
Go to the Drawsko Pomorskie town cemetery and if you can find his grave, leave a note on it asking people to contact you.
Go to the Drawsko Pomorskie church(es) on a Sunday morning with a sign indicating who you are looking for.

I want to find my Uncle Jan Karnicki born about 1925 in Hniecki Polska now Belarus. Photo given to his sister Janina Alak in 1948/49. She came to Australia, he is ? Resettled to Stargard, Drawsko Pomorskie , western Poland? about 1949/1950.
Any living family? Please help. Danuta Alak (Kawecki)
