I'm trying to reach possible connections in Poland, as part of my genealogical research into the history of my father's family line. I don't have many details... here's what I've gathered thus far.

My grandfather was Andrzej Pacek. He was born approximately 1883, most likely in Nowosielce. His parents were Franciszek Pacek (assumed from documented 'Frank) and Elzbieta (assumed from documented 'Elizabeth) Wegrzyn. I've located what I believe to be the ship manifest for his arrival in May 1900. The name for what I suspect is him is actually written as Jondrich Pacek. (then mistranscribed into the database as Fridrich; the gender for him and several other passengers on the page is also incorrectly entered in the database as female instead of male)

My grandmother was Kostantcya Burczyk. She was born in 1886. Her parents were Antoni Burzcyk and Francizska (name assumed, based on a handwritten 'Franc.' in a later document). The ship manifest for her 1905 arrival lists her origin as Dlugie. She was traveling with a cousin Maryanna Burczyk, from Nowosielce.

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who may be also researching these familes, or who may be able to provide additional information. Contact with family members now living in Poland would be especially welcome.
