Hello,

my name is Terry Kreft and I reside in Nelson, New Zealand.

My Ancestors came to New Zealand in 1875 and as we are visiting Poland in July 2020 I am interested to see if I have any living relatives in Poland.

My family came from Pomeranian Voivodeship, admin district of Gmina Skarszewy within the Starogard county. In particular the town of Szczerbiecin.

My 3 x great grandfather - Michael Kreft - born 1786
died 1846 in Szczerbiecin
married - Marianna Starka - born 1791
died 1827 Skarszewy parish

My 2 x great grandfather - Johann Kreft - born 1816 Pogodki, Pomerania
- died - 1865 Borjary
married - Barbara Kowalski
Johann and Barbara’s children all born in Szczerbiecin were
- Rosalia (1844 - 1846)
- Johann Martin (my great grandfather) (1847 - 1899 NZ)
- married Rosalia Cherchowski 15/11/1868 St John of Nepomuk in Godziszewo
They emigrated to NZ in 1875 from Hamburg aboard the Lammershagen.
- Marianna Brigitta (1849 - ?)
- Paulina Barbara (1851 - ?)
- Anna Susanna (1853 - ?)
- Lucia Josefina (1856 - ?)
- Joseph (1858 - 1874 Szczerbiecin)
- Franciszka (1861 - ?)
- Franz (1864 - ?) Possibly emigrated to USA.

I will also be looking for graves of any of these or other relatives.
