                                      According to the record of her death in 1910, Barbara Furmaga was never married and she was born in Grodki -- south of Turobin -- in 1845, parents unknown.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Did any of the following Turobin parish marriages happen in or near Grodki?&lt;br /&gt;
Furmaga - Chalasa, 1832&lt;br /&gt;
Furmaga - Garbarz, 1833&lt;br /&gt;
Furmaga - Kowalczyk, 1833&lt;br /&gt;
Furmaga - Koszalka, 1842&lt;br /&gt;

                                      Was the Jan Albiniak born in 1905 in Mokrelipie parish the son of Jan Albiniak and Franciszka Furmaga? They may have been living in Gruszka Zaporska at that point.</description>

                                      According to this record, Jan was a son of Paweł (deceased) and Katarzyna Kuter, born in Tarnawa and living in Czernięcin, 25 years old and Franciszka Furmaga was 18, born in Tarnawa and living in Czernięcin, daughter of Barbara Furmaga. Date of marriage: 1 (13) November 1898.&lt;br /&gt;

What can you tell me about the marriage of Jan Albiniak and Franciszka Furmaga in 1898. I believe those are my grandparents!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In particular, can you confirm the spelling of her last name? We have had several different versions over the years.&lt;br /&gt;

                                      Thanks, that looks like a good possibility. It's a shame the first names are so common, however the timing and the locations certainly seem reasonable.&lt;br /&gt;

                                      Albiniak is a very characteristic name for Janów Lubelski. I did the research there once (one of the grandmothers of Martha Stewart was Albiniak from Janów). There is Jan Albiniak born on 13 (25) May 1876, son of Antoni, shoemaker and Zuzanna Wojtan, 29. His second name was Władysław.&lt;br /&gt;
