Hi Josh,
How was your trip in April 2011? I'd like to know if you found info about your ancestors. Successful trip?
I just got back from that same general area, but a little north. However, we flew into the Rzeszow airport. I don't speak Polish either, but I am lucky enough to have some Canadian cousins who traveled with me and they speak Polish. It was a great trip! I'd like to hear about your trip. What villages did you visit?

Hello! This is my first post to polishorigins, as I just joined yesterday and have only been seriously researching my family's roots for the last week or so (though I'm picking up on a lot of important research that my aunt has been working on for years). In other words, I'm a bit of a beginner.

I'm going to Jaroslaw and Sieniawa (both relatively close to Przemysl and Rzeszow) this week on Thursday and Friday. I unfortunately don't speak Polish but would love to do some on-the-ground research there. Can anyone recommend an English-speaking genealogist in that general area whom I might be able to hire to work with for a few hours? I have contacts to genealogists in Warsaw, but was thinking it could be good to higher someone from southeast Poland (probably from Jaroslaw, Przemysl or Rzeszow) who has a good knowledge of the region and its documents.

Anyone know a researcher to recommend?

Thanks in advance for any help any one can offer.
