Spam in private messages - March 29

Dear Users,

Las weekend there was a spammer sending private messages to many of you. We have already identified the sender (username: SarahWem), and blocked from the forum.

If your messages were sent from someone else, please let me know. Thank you for your messages and I am sorry for inconvenience.

I am getting spam messages in my PMs. Who can I report them to to get the offending user blocked?

Hello, Zenon. I tried emailing you the spam I received but get an error that it can't be delivered. Please advise how I can send this. Thanks.

We monitor our Forum on regular basis and clean it from all scam and commercial messages. Often, you, Forum members, help us and inform about suspicious or unwanted posts. We are very grateful that you engage in keeping this place useful, clean and friendly to all who are willing to uncover their roots and those who generously want to help by sharing their knowledge.

Last night (Sunday) we were flooded by a few hundred spam posts. Before we manage to remove them all and ban the spammers the automatic daily digest with the spam messages was sent to all who are subsrbied to it.

We sincerely apologizes for this. If this problem repeats we will research for better ways of securing our Forum.
