my first cousin received all the extant family papers after our grandmother's death. that is where I got the letters and death form from. his marriage record came from NEHGS. his work and medical records were from NARA. I found the notice about the law suit in a Boston Globe paper when the newspaper file was free to view...G something, it's late and my tired brain isn't thinking clearly. residence came from perusing the Boston and Chelsea city directories, in this instance on microfische at the L. A. public library. and some of it is just hear-say. something our grandmother wrote down in her 90's. let me know if I missed anything.

                                      Hi Nekocat,
You have a lot of information about Charles Wagner's life. Did your family pass down his letters over the years? You also mention several records, such as the unfinished death record. I'm curious about how you learned of these details. Can you share how you got it? - understanding how you obtained the records may help some other members who are searching for their mariner ancestors.

Thanks!
