Hello,

Yes, Kościelisko belonged to the parish in Zakopane.
Unfortunately the records are not indexed online (except the marriages from one single year: 1868).
The vital records from Zakopane are stored in the parish office, and in the Archidiocese Archive in Kraków. Currently this archive is closed due to the epidemic, but we hope they will open again for genealogists later this year.

This forum helped me to translate an ancestors baptism record. With that information, I found out that my Great-Great-Grandmother, Anna Stopka, was born on Feb 1 1860. She was the daughter of Mathias Stopka (son of Valentinus Stopka and Marianna nee Bukowska) and Catharina (daughter of Thomas Kapłon and Magdalena Bartoszek). Where can I dig for information on these ancestors? Would the parish records in Zakopane hold records from Kościelisko? Would any of these records be digitized? Thank you guys for your help!
