Thanks Gilberto! I didn't even know he had a sister. Truthfully, I don't know anything about him at all. Any and all help is much appreciated.

There is a Julia Koniawicz (spelled like this) who arrived at Ellis Island on May 26, 1910 (SS Presidente Lincoln, from Hamburg). She declared her nearest relative in Poland as Jan Koniawicz, from Konopnica. In my opinion she is your Jan's sister. She was born about 1893, too.

I am trying to find information on my great-grandfather Jan Koniewicz and his family. He was born around 1893 and his last known place of residence was Konopnica, Galicia, Poland before he came to the United States. He married Antonina Merda.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am not having much luck. Thanks!
