Thank you for the translation. It's interesting to me that the "stable lad". Jozef, his wife and three young children would have the wherewithal to sail for America four years later. wuness

Poswiontno, on October 30, 1896.

Before the undersigned registrar appeared today, of known identity, the stable lad [Pferdeknecht] Josef Slomian, residing in Ulejno, of Catholic religion, and gave notice that

Hedwig (Jadwiga) Slomian, born Szczepanska, his wife, of Catholic religion, residing with him in Ulejno in his flat, on October 28, 1896 at 6 o’clock p.m. gave birth to a child of female gender and that the child was given the name Stanislawa.

Read aloud, approved, and signed.
