                                      &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
                                      One family in our tree shows up with various the various versions shown in the subject line.  Any comments about the origins of these variations?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I know the family was Polish, so the one with the Y on the end is most likely wrong.  All are from census records, so I've learned to expect quite a range of variants due the difficulties in understanding by the census takers.</description>
