Yes, it is written in russian. Here https://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?t=3525&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=4665 you can ask for help with the transaltion.

I have found some records for Michael, Andrew and Nicolas Hreben/Greben on FamilySearch. They were brothers and they immigrated to the U.S. from Siehniewicze and Grodno area, so maybe they were somehow related to Peter. In these records you can find both versions of the surname: Greben and Hreben, so one of them should be the correct spelling you are looking for.

Hello,

according to the naturalization documents for Peter Hreben https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS4X-FSHM-G?i=280&cc=2546149&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AZCBK-61N2
he was born in Siehniewicze https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siehniewicze (now Belarus as you mentioned).
I have also found another naturalization document, this time for Anthony Hreben/Greben born in Siehniewicze (do you know if he was related to Peter?) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS8W-KQ4X-F?i=131&cc=2546149
Anthony got married in Siehniewicze in 1912. You can find his marriage record here an see the spelling of his surname Metrical books (familysearch.org) (record number 10)

I hope it will be helpful. Good luck with your research

Information i have for our last name Hreben:
Peter Hreben(my Grandfather) born in Grodno in 1893.
really trying to find if our last name was changed or really is Hreben.
emigrated to the US in 1915.
Says he is Polish on paperwork and i understand Grodno in the 1890's was a part of Poland and is now Belarus.
