Hello Trish,
Yes, that is George Lentz' US passport application. He married Elisabeth Klara Johanna Rudel in Brooklyn, NY, Dec 7, 1923. She was from Magdeburg, Germany.
However, my quest is to find George's parents' records back in Breslau. How would I go about that? George, himself, was born in Breslau Sept 18, 1883.

Can you tells us who George Lentz married? There are several people with the name George Lentz all born around the same time.

I am posting a USA Passport Application for George Lentz so that others in the group can see some documentation on him which might help find some answers.

Unfortunately not. I am actively trying to get more information about him from the National Archives, as George enlisted with the US Marines in 1906 and remained a career marine until his death in 1946. He apparently left Breslau as a teenager somewhere around 1900. I only learned about his parents through a marriage record in NY. Would you know where I go to find his civil birth certificate in Breslau, now Wroclaw? Thank you!
