Marianna Strumpf was born Koziorzembski in Marzencitz (Marcencice).

Hi,
It seems Marianna was born in Marzęcice. Marzęcice is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kurzętnik, within Nowe Miasto County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.
I found Joseph Koziorzembski. He is Marianna's brother.

Hi Bob, Barb, and Sophia,

Bob, I do understand that Marianna and John met in the USA. The marriage record you posted lists Marianna as a widow. The children listed from Mariannan's first marriage match the children in the 1900 census.

As for John (Jan) I believe I found his ship's manifest. However, it does not list a town of origin.

Name	Jan Paczkowski
Gender	Male
Age	23
Birth Date	abt 1869
Departure Port	Bremen and Southampton
Arrival Date	30 Mar 1892
Arrival Port	New York, New York, USA
Ship Name	Ems

You are correct with stating that most records you are finding only list Poland, Austria, Russia, or Germany. Most records prior to 1900 will not list the actual name of the town. However, you can try to get the baptismal records of John (Jan) and Marianna's children. The baptismal records also could list the town of original for the parents. It's worth a try.

Regards,
Hi Bob, Barb, and Sophia,

Bob, what USA documents do you have already on your family? What information do you know on Jan (John)? What year was he born?

I did see a 1900 census for a John being born around 1869, his wife was Marianna. They had Telka, Clara, and Robert. Marianna also had several children from a previous marriage. Those children surnames was listed as "Strump". Is this your family?

Let me know what USA records that you need.
Regards,
Oh yes. It is written in your first post. I believe that it will be difficult to move forward without the Manifest. Trish and Sophia, can you find anything?
Hi ,
What about Koniuszkowo?
Pogrodzie borders on the Elbląg Upland Landscape Park. Until 1945, the town had the German name Neukirch-Höhe, after World War II it was changed to Koniuszkowo.
I don't know what year the document was issued?
Do you have a Manifest or other documents where that name can be stated?
