I am looking for any relatives or leads on the name Sokolowski.

My great grandfather, Jan or John Sokolowski, immigrated from somewhere in Poland with his brother Francizek or Frank Sokolowski sometime in the early 1910s.

From what I know from my grandmother, John and Frank both arrived at the port of Boston and from there split up, with Frank heading to Wayne County, Michigan and John to Baltimore, Maryland. John married my great-grandmother and had three daughters (my grandmother and her sisters). It sounds like the brothers were close in age and my grandmother said her father was in his mid-70s when he died in 1968/1969, which would make their birth years somewhere in the late 1880s/early 1890s.

The only other information I have is that Frank has two sons, one of which was named Marion, a doctor who made contact with my grandmother in the 1960s. They have since lost touch. My grandmother has always said that her father was perhaps from near Krakow and had been in the Polish Army or some type of armed forces before he immigrated.

I have been unable to find them in ship manifests and without any other information, was wondering if anyone here had any leads, tips or tricks to try to fill in the remainder of the information.

Thanks so much for the help, this website has been a great resource and I have been enjoying reading about all of the other researchers and families on here!
