Hi Jozef,

Thank you so much for all of your help regarding this. I will aim to provide you with all of the information/research i have so far.
You are correct as i have various dates for Harris birth.
Name: Harris ‘David’ Saunders (1839 – 16 October 1907) (although his gravestone says 'died 1907 aged 66)
Date of birth: 1839 Poland/Russia, Warsaw
Parents: Marcus Nathan Saunders? & Isabella ‘Elizabeth’ Bilah ?

Name: Marcus Nathan [Emanuel/Menahem]Saunders (we think is the father to Harris?)
Date of birth: c1813 Poland
Parents: 1Michael [Michael Hacohen] Saunders

Name: 1Michael [Michael Hacohen] Saunders (probable father to Nathan?)
Date of birth: c1780 – Poland/Russia

Hi Jozef,
That's very interesting. Harris Saunders my 3rd great grandfather was born in Warsaw.
That explains his surname. There has to be something in the way of a record of him being born?..
I'd really like your help.

The surname "Sandacz" is very rare in Poland. It occurs only in two regions: Warsaw and Mazowieckie Voivodeship. I found a few people with this name, but unfortunately, they don't match the information you have.

Hi, I'd be very grateful on some help in trying to confirm my 4th great grandfather.

I can confirm that my 3rd great grandfather was -

Harris (David) Saunders
1841–1907
BIRTH ABT 1841 • Warsaw, Poland
DEATH 16 OCT 1907 • Mile End Old Town, London
3rd great-grandfather

He was married to -

Dinah 'Cohen' Saunders
1841–1917
BIRTH 1841 • Berlin (F), Germany
DEATH 7 MAY 1917 • London
3rd great-grandmother

I have Harris father down on Ancestry.co.uk as

Marcus Nathan Sandacz/Saunders
1813–1905
BIRTH 1813 • Rush Poland British Subject
DEATH JANUARY 1905 • 1861 Census A Tailor 1881 Census A Restaurant Proprioritor
4th great-grandfather

I am unable to confirm this?

Would someone with more knowledge of ancestry be able to help me?
