I just noticed that I have misspelled family name in the subject line of my first post. I don't know how to fix it, any way the Name was Skriykowcki.
Thanks
Are these Paul's brothers?
SS Death Index
Frank Scribner 11 Aug 1879 Oct 1972 Bancroft, Shiawassee, Michigan
Joseph Scribner 17 Feb 1886 Nov 1966 Detroit, Wayne, Michigan
Sorry I wasn't clear. Hope this is better

To trace family in Poland, you need the town of origin/birth. This information can usually be found on different USA records.

Here are some US records to obtain. You don't have to get all, just order til you get the information>

Birth and baptismal records for the children born in Detroit
Death record for Paul Sr.
Death records for children born in Poland.
Obituaries for family members born in Poland
SS applications for children born in Poland.
Frank's complete marriage record, if applicable

For BMD records, always ask for a copy of the complete original record, not a certificate.

If you need help on locating these records, let us know. We maybe able to help. Once you get the town information, we can help you with how & where to obtain Polish family records.
Thank You for the reply, but yes I have that info, Paul was born in Detroit, however Frank was born in Poland and came over with Father, Mother and other siblings I think around 1890 +/- 2yrs. Can't find any records of their immigration. I lived with my great uncles Joe and Paul and their sister Anna (my Grandmother), in the home that Paul Sr. built or had built in Detroit.
Lee
Another after thought My Grandmother always said her family was Kashubs

My Great Grandfather "Paul Skriykowcki" born in 1845 migrated to the Detroit area in 1890 (=/- 2yrs), with his wife (name unknown) eldest son Frank, second son Joseph and Daughter Anna the youngest son Paul Jr. was born in Detroit. I believe they came from Dunzig, based on what my grandmother Anna had told me. I have hit a brick wall at this point and have been trying to find additional info for well over 2 years. My Uncle Joe had the family name changed to Scribner which all of the siblings used as far as I know. Anyone have any ideas?
Thank You
